Hi, I’m JJ Pope, founder of Q-Hall — NC's first women's sports bar and Asheville's only self-identified lesbian bar. Since launching this campaign, so much progress has been made! We are officially in our brick-and-mortar home at 81 Coxe Ave. We are currently sprucing the place up and getting ready to open our doors in August or September 2026.
The Final Push: Our Emergency & Working Capital Fund
Our GoFundMe remains active and is gratefully accepting contributions to bolster our working capital for the 81 Coxe Ave launch. Your generosity protects our SBA funds for budgeted expenses and cash flow for our staff and will cover those pesky unforeseen costs as we get through inspections, repairs, and renovations and head into our inaugural winter season.
