Operation Redemption
Wixom Lake Flood Victims
We went to Midland with a servants heart and no plan.
We simply asked... How can we help??
The People told us what was needed:
Water; Food; Paper Products; Fans: Electrical Cords; Push Brooms; Contractor Bags; Shop Towels; Shop Vacs; Durable Gloves.....
But most of all !!
We need People's heart and muscle to volunteer and help clean UP!!
In one afternoon, by just listening instead of talking, we were able to contact the only store still servicing the community on Wixom Lake
THE HOOK
Owners "Super Dave" and his girlfriend Kris were MORE than willing to do what it takes to help out their beloved community.
In one afternoon, we were able to establish a command center, get donations for porta-potties and get a local land owner to donate use of 80 acres for parking for volunteers
The State Police Volunteered to help with Traffic
We have also secured tents for registration for volunteers and flood victims and food donations from local restaurants
Operation Redemption isn't JUST about the victims, if you've ever done something wrong in your life here is your chance to do your part and redeem your part, with just a $5 dollar donation to be used towards the items most needed in this local community
Operation Redemption Starts Friday 5 -29- 2020 at Noon

WHY?
The majority of these have lost EVERYTHING and unfortunately have NO flood insurance. Yes, the Federal Government has agreed to help, but how long will that take?
The people need help NOW…the longer their homes stay wet, the more damage that will occur; in addition to that, many have no where to relocate and still are living in these homes!
COVID has taken its toll these last few months…..imagine yourself in these peoples shoes, now this….lose everything, absolutely heartbreaking!
We need people to help with donations (EVERY $ counts) and we need people to physically go to these homes and lend a hand.
YOU can make a difference….please help!
