Hello, my name is Darius Hodges! I am 3 years old. My Birthday is March 28th!
I had my first set of seizures (13 total) in 2019. The only cause that was given was a fever. I got sick February 7th 2022. We thought I had the stomach bug and the Dr agreed. Went to Brenners on February 11th thinking I had a concussion and got sent home. I woke up February 12th screaming and crying and went back to Brenners where they found a tumor on my brain. On February 14th I had a seizure but luckily I was already in the hospital. The tumor that I have is on the surface of the brain behind my right ear in the lower part. It is believed to be the reason I have seizures sometimes and not cancerous. They said once it is out I shouldn’t have anymore. I had surgery February 21st to remove the tumor and will be in the hospital for a little while. It’s been hard on all of us through this process but if you would like to help, please pray for us as this road won’t be long hopefully but very stressful. If you would like to help with my deductible of my medical bills that would be great too since my parents are still paying on my bill in 2019. My deductible is $8,700. For those of you that are wondering why you didn’t know about this sooner is because As parents we needed time to ourselves and to figure out everything. I don’t want people that are going to worry and tell me bad things that could happen to me.
