My name is Steven Dodge and I am humbly asking for your help and support as my wife of 33 years, Jody battles Bladder Cancer. Jody, at five foot one inch, is a strong and determined women who fought and beat Stage 4 Breast Cancer 15 years ago.
Two weeks after Jody started her very aggressive chemotherapy regiment which prevented her from working, I lost my employment when the business I work for unexpectedly closed its doors. So now we have no income and the bills are piling up. The savings we had has been depleted and now we are in full panic mode. This state of mind is a detriment to Jody’s fragile health.
Asking for help is not an easy thing to do since we have always been givers. Any amount you could donate will be used for the well care of Jody and bare living expenses. This has been a very trying time for us. We have a while to go but with your help and prayers I know we can get thought this.
The words “thank you” just seem too small to express how I feel about friends and strangers helping us. I am grateful and hopeful for any help you can give.

Jody is a lifelong resident of Garden City, Michigan. Jody is the Mother of three and a loving wife. She is a caring person that has volunteered her time to the community and youth groups. She served on the city council for 18 years and over 17 years volunteering for Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League.
