We would like to share with you today both the joyous and challenging news about our co-worker and friend Kasia and her husband, Ryan. As you know, they are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby daughter, a moment filled with immense excitement and anticipation. However, their journey has taken an unexpected and difficult turn. Kasia has recently received a diagnosis of a rare form of breast cancer. While she will focus on welcoming her baby girl into the world she will soon begin treatment.

This news has understandably brought a wave of concern and uncertainty for Kasia and Ryan. The prospect of navigating the complexities of newborn care alongside a rigorous cancer treatment regimen is daunting, to say the least. The emotional and financial toll will be significant.

We, their friends and family, want to offer our unwavering support during this challenging time. We’re organizing a community effort to help alleviate some of the burdens they will face. This could take many forms, from practical assistance with childcare and household chores, to providing meals, or simply lending a listening ear.
