On behalf of the Smith family, I am sharing the news that we have made the decision as a family, to transfer our Dad/Husband, Charlie Smith, into the care of Regional Hospice of Greater Danbury. Many of you know our Dad as Mr. Tee, Jaycee's Man of the Year, FCCB's sexton, best voice in FCCB and CT Master Chorale, and most of all Santa Claus. We know him as the World's Best Dad, Husband and Grandpa.

If you know our Dad well, you know that he would give the shirt off his back to help anyone, whenever he could, at any time. From playing Santa, to setting up the church Christmas tree, to helping people move, to delivering meals, to being a father figure to those without fathers, to being an ear to listen to your problems. He is truly one of a kind.

Dad's wish to go to Regional Hospice comes at a cost of $16,000 per month. This is not covered by Medicare or Blue Cross/Blue Shield. We are hoping to raise some money to help support our parents and honor our Dad's last wishes. We thank you so much for your consideration and most of all for your prayers! <3
