Support Ukrainian Refugees in Poland
Donation protected
Hello friends and family. I am asking for your help.
We have all witnessed the horrors and devastation perpetrated unjustly on the people of Ukraine by a ruthless and brutal dictator.
While thousands of women and children flee the country for unknown destinations, thousands more remain in shelters at the borders.
The courage and strength of the Ukrainian people are a defining testament to their love and loyalty for their country and deep resolve to remain an independent free nation.
There is a saying, "Walk like you have 3000 ancestors behind you" My ancestors fled Russia to make their home on the Canadian prairies many years ago. As I watch these atrocities unfold before my eyes, I feel compelled to travel to the border of Przemysl in Poland and volunteer my time to help and support the Ukrainian refugees. I will be leaving to fly to Krakow on Saturday, April 9 and making my way to the border town of Przemysl. I plan to volunteer my time helping and supporting mothers and children at the border, transportation, food preparation and wherever else I am needed.
I am self-funding my trip; therefore, 100% of the funds donated will go directly into the hands of Ukrainian refugees.
I appreciate your support. I will provide ongoing information about fund distribution as I volunteer on the ground and work towards meeting the needs of the Ukrainian families.
