Save Lebanon

Lebanon suffered a nuclear-sized explosion, killing dozens, and injuring thousands (fatalities still climbing); all midst famine and a pandemic. Beirut is nearly demolished and hospitals are in shambles. The country has suffered an economic shutdown, deaths from hunger/famine, collapse of the central bank, collapsed government, hyper-inflation, environmental poisoning, a trash epidemic, poisoned food sources, contaminated waters.  People have lost their jobs midst the economic shutdown, and their savings have been wiped, at the collapse of the central bank. Any saved resources at the port were lost in the blast. There is NOTHING left for these people. No supplies, no hospital beds, no medicine,  no ample/reliable resources. 

Many have asked how they can help and who they can donate to? Truth is... I don’t know what organizations to trust. A corrupt government is taking any foreign assistance, restricting the dispersement of the US dollar midst hyperinflation, and converting it for pennies on the dollar to an extremely weakened Lebanese pound. The people are losing north of 70% of the value money when sent, and often takes weeks to arrive .  Most people can’t get money in dollars there. I don’t know what organizations to trust, but I do know what people to trust. I also know how to get dollars dispersed, at the moment without losing money in conversion (not sure for how long this will last). I am raising money to get the good deed done, and resources in the hands of the people that need them. 

⚠️  ⚠️ I WILL MATCH YOUR DONATION DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR until the initial goal is reached... because I’m not asking for this for the money alone (I’ll donate the whole amount regardless), I’m asking for your love, and for humanity to unite, in a world that’s been divided. Step up with me to the front line, if you’ve had enough. People are injured, dead, and fatalities are climbing. We can’t standby and watch, waiting for outside help that has not come yet in the last 2 years of sheer chaos. There is no donation that is too little; your sentiment greatly outweighs the dollar amount.

We are coordinating with certain organizations and individuals who we have vetted to make sure there is no fraud in the process. Money will mainly focus on water, food, and medicine. All donations will be given in the form of supplies, and in the event that cash dispersements for personalized medical care is needed, proof of expense is required, or dispersements will be made directly to the pharmacy or medical facilities. Name of families, individuals or organization who receive any supplies, will be documented.
