The Pleiades is Murrah High School's award winning literary magazine that was founded by a group of students in the late 1950’s. After resurrecting the magazine six years ago, a new group of dedicated artists and writers fill its pages. We are extremely lucky to have the support of Murrah alumni and our Jackson community who have made it possible to create five awesome magazines. Last year’s Pleiades won MSPA’s Best Literary Magazine in the state. And we brought home a bundle of accolades this year, as well.
We also are blessed to have the support of our school, but as you can probably guess we have zero funding. We must raise the money each year to publish and print our magazine. We are humbly asking that Murrah alumni and our community consider supporting our endeavor again this year. Thank you so much! Go Mustangs!
