Leslie Taylor-Simo Fund for Life

To those of you who know Leslie, you know why we have this page...to those of you who don't: First, you're missing out and I'm truly sorry for you. Secondly, Leslie is the epitome of strength, courage, resilience, and perseverance. She has been hospitalized for kidney disease since the age of 10 and has had several transplants. While most would use this as an excuse to lay in bed and let life pass Leslie has lived her life to the fullest. As a child she had tutors both at home and at the hospital, striving to learn and experience all that she could. Her thirst for knowledge would earn her three degrees one of which in Social Work where she helps people navigate through the system fighting the very same disease she does. She, in her modesty, shrugs off how courageous this truly is. Leslie Taylor-Simo is a daughter, a wife, a Godmother, and a dear friend. She is the person that shows up no matter what (even after a trip to the hospital she didn't tell you about to avoid people being concerned over her). Never once have I heard Leslie ever ask for help, until now. She has been hospitalized countless times over the past 3 years, increasing medications and continuous time off of work has depleted her and Erich's savings. Being unqualified for assistance makes the financial aspect of this stressful when more stress is the last thing they need. We have now learned that Leslie will be needing another transplant, making an already trying time worse. I ask of each and everyone of you to consider making a donation either monetary or by being tested to be a donor. If you are interested in being tested the phone number to contact is 1-800-333-9013. I thank you in advance for your time and your donations. WE LOVE YOU LESLIE!
