On March 6th, the Port Police and the Tyler family were notified of the tragic loss of Senior Lead Officer William Tyler. The cause of death appears to be of his own volition.

The last few days have been a whirlwind of emotion for the Port Police, but even more so for Bill's wife, Sarah, and their two teenage kids James and Danann. The Tyler family not only lost a husband and a father, but they lost their main source of income and health insurance. The suddenness of this tragedy has exacerbated the financial strain on the family and has left Sarah wondering how she is going to support the family. Though pension and other benefits maybe enroute, the amount and arrival of the aid is unclear. The Tyler family is in need of immediate help to pay for rent, medical care, groceries, dental, and college expenses.

We are asking for any donations to help Bill's family get through this difficult time. Bill loved his profession, but even more so he loved his kids. Help us to honor Bill by making sure his kids are taken care of. All the money donated will go directly towards the Tyler Family.
