I am excited to share some information regarding my upcoming project with you and to garner your support!

Two years ago, I began a journey that has led me on a quest for freedom, healing, and a yearning for community. For many years I felt I was running away from something. Now, I have made an internal switch to begin running towards something.

Studies show that children who grow up with a parent who is incarcerated, are 70% more likely to go into the system themselves. Studies also remark having a parent who is incarcerated as an adverse childhood experience. This documentary explores who you become as a result of that aversion. It follows my journey along with 5 other subjects as we unpack the impact incarceration has had on our lives. From foster care, poverty, and higher education to mental illness this documentary represents the untold stories of the 30%.
