The Great Glencoe Challenge
Donation protected
On 2nd July our team of 16 are going to take on “The Great Glencoe Challenge”. A 26.2 mile trekathon across Glencoe, the Devils Staircase and finally finishing at the foot of Ben Nevis.
We have a special feature in this fundraiser: if we can get to £1,000 by 08:00 on Saturday 2nd July one of our team members, Marcus, will do the trek wearing a kilt… with no undercarriage protection! Pictures available on request.
This trek will be in memory of our dear friends and loved ones Mandy Farrell & William Garner
We will be raising money for two charities:
Beacon counselling which is a local charity based in Stockport that provides one to one counselling, group programmes and community projects. Their main goal is to help anyone suffering from mental or emotional stress, and also to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.
&
The Frost Charitable Foundation which is a local children’s charity based in Manchester who help: children with special needs, families that are struggling in the current financial climate and families fleeing domestic abuse. One example of the support they provide would be to ensure children from disadvantaged backgrounds have a full school uniform.
We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support! All monies raised will be added to donations previously collected.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Please also feel free to share.
