I'm sam and I've paid for my top surgery!

It's will take place early September (I can't believe I finally get to write this sentence).

A breakdown of what your donations are going towards:

(over a 6 week period)

✅ PAID: Consultation & Surgery (£8,363)

✅ PAID: Accommodation: for 3 weeks (£1,600)

✅ PAID: Flights: (£550)

Still fundraising for:

£500: Aftercare (medication, food, transport to and from clinic)

£45: Wedge pillow

I am saving and paying for as much as I possibly can.

Back story / why donating means so much to me:

I knew I was interested in getting top surgery in 2018, although, I did not think my gender dysphoria would heighten to the height it is today. For those who are unaware of what gender dysphoria is, it’s a sense of unease where the persons biological sex (myself, a female) doesn’t match with their gender (me, non-binary) and in this case, it’s a certain area of my body; my boobs.

Asking for help is something I'm not great at but in this case, it's vital.

This is a decision I’ve not taken lightly but being working class and with the nhs waiting list over a minimum of 3+ years, I’ve chosen to go private.

I started this journey in 2018, I created this page in 2022, it's now 2025 and time to make this into my reality. Thank you for getting this far and taking the time to invest in my journey.
