Support for Elise & her Family

Donation protected
This isn't MY story, it's Elise's.  At 17 she's fighting every moment of her day for one more moment.  Six years ago she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and she is in her final days.  Her mom Laurel, her dad, Peter and her brother Jamie have stood the front lines and have battled this enemy, this dreaded cancer, and have fought the good fight.  They have spent 6 years in a war zone, (albiet some of that in remission,) some of that in terror and all of it in fear of it's return and of THIS inevibility.  WE as friends and family cannot imagine their pain and suffering, but we can help.  As we sit in silence and "wait" for our daily "news" update of Elise's condition we CAN help.  We CAN be proactive.  We CAN support them with at least the security of knowing that some financial support is there for the things they need right now.  We can fill the house with flowers for Elise while she IS alive and while she can see them as those of you who have been to Laurel's facebook page can see from one of her recent posts her request to SEND THEM NOW!  PLEASE...I know you are all feeling as helpless as I am.  Let's fund the money to hire someone to come in and cook some meals.  Let's fund the money to make sure that whatever they need to keep Elise comfortable AT HOME isn't an issue.  WHATEVER SHE NEEDS! Let's make sure they spend these last few days with Elise wrapped up in our love KNOWING we care and that we have been allowed to show that in a demonstrative supportive way that allows us to feel that we have been able to contribute in some way.  So if you, like me...are feeling like you want to help but you JUST DON'T KNOW HOW...maybe this is something you would like to do...My own heart's been heavy as I sit every day and worry and wonder how they are... and feel so helpless to support them as I live in Vancouver.  I can't pop in with a coffee and some baking or bring over a meal...but this would allow for Laurel to hire someone to do some cooking or cleaning or at least give them the opportunity to order in food or have someone grocery shop for them...what do YOU think??  Please support this precious family and lets "shower them" in our love at this most difficult time of their lives.
