Funeral Arrangements for Silvia Kremer

Sadly, my mom passed away this morning at 10:24am. Suddenly. She was not sick, had no illnesses...had a meeting in the morning, sat down in a chair, went to check something in her purse...slumped over and an hour later, she died. We are devastated to say the least...words cannot express how much my Mom meant to so many people.
She was sweet but very spicy, had a quite a personality, the best sales person anyone could have on their team, she was fierce...and she was my mom.
My Brother and I have learned that my parents did not save for this occassion, no life insurance and no savings to speak of.
The burden is on us...never knew how much a Funeral would cost until this afternoon. Are you sitting down? $18K...that's for the Burial, Plot, and Mortuary Services (Chevra Kadisha). Additional monies raised are for my Dad...Awwww.
We just don't have that kind of money...really, we are just pretty normal people, not fancy, just down to earth people that just can't come up with this kind of money...if you could help at all, please.
My Mom will stay at the Morgue until we can come up with some $$ to pay for her transfer/burial.
We know it's a lot to ask, but we have no rich uncles hiding in the corner to help us.
