She gives her music passionately and freely, and for her art she asks very little, though her talent would acquire much more.
She has only until the end of the year to get limber enough for the one truly beneficial (not all death& paralyzation risksx3!!)treatment program to fit her with a high maintenance bracing system. This goes hand in hand with the Schroth physical Therapy regimen, which is arduous and rigorous to say the least. She is eligible right now, but with multiple areas of spinal fusion, the only means of gaining any ground in this regard, would be to comply with her chiropractors recommendation and go in for subluxation and orthogonal atlas adjustments(as well as ARP wave treatment{electric impulse treatment}) at $75/visit, 3x week.
There’s NO WAY she can afford even 1xweek as it stands, and she is very quickly running out of time. She has always amazed her specialists with her ability to conform to whatever stimuli she is exposed to, “elastica” is what 4 doctors called her over time& in fact, being stuck in a wheelchair for 3 months and being forbidden to engage in stretching/yoga- is what initiated this severe nose dive.
At the end of the year, due to the damage the efforts to get limber will inevitably subject her spine to, if She’s unable to get in to see the therapist frequently enough, the progress will not be substantial enough for Spine-Cor, and neither the terrifying surgical option NOR spine Cor will accept her with more damage to undo. She is already the most challenging case either practice (UCSF/Spine-Cor) has ever been faced with to date.
I know 6k seems like& IS a lot of money. She is very awkward about this effort& wants to make sure it is known that she doesn’t expect something for nothing. Her version of this statement was distracting with its attempts to reward assistance people should offer freely. But, because she insisted, I will include:
“Hi all. As a show of gratitude for your ongoing support and financial assistance in this last ditch effort, I will compensate you any (reasonable)creation you request. Everything I do is artistic, and My designs are 100% original. Contact me for more information if you are interested in checking out what your donation can afford you. This is so important to me, I really just need to be there for my 5yo boy. My family and I thank you& appreciate ANYTHING you can do. No donation is too small, no referral is not a blessing. Peace, Love& Rock!”
We hope that you can find it in your heart to help us in this effort- at whatever level you are able to. Anyone who knows her well knows that she’s pushed herself too hard for too long in honoring commitments she’s made as an activist/outreach volunteer& emergency support source- at her physical& financial expense. Now it’s our turn. Kat is an asset in the lives of all who know her. Please, help.
