Hello, on Thursday the 26th at 2:47pm I lost my Hero! I lost my father. My daughter lost the best grandfather. My dad if you knew him was a friendly, kind man with a big heart and soul! My dad was a Marine veteran. I can’t say enough how much I and so many others loved Bobby! My parents never had much money, but made me feel like the richest child in the world. Unfortunately, my dad took out two life insurance policies my mom’s and one for me. We are doing direct cremation and a mass. The veterans even though you fight for this country doesn’t pay for any of this with a maybe we can reimburse you for the cremation! They offer a grave 2 1/2 hours away. I stopped my job a few years back to take care of my dad fully. He got bladder cancer which he had chemo and had it removed and end stage renal failure. I did not was not going to put my dad in a nursing home. So I stepped in and was with him until his last day! He was put in different hospitals until into the VA ICU. I tried to go back to my teaching job to find out there was a freeze due to covid and not enough children for each class.
So I am asking for anything you can spare to help my daughter and I with bills, medical expenses and to live until we get on our feet.
