Hi, I’m Char Pfaff…I am raising money for my cat’s life saving treatment that is needed urgently. His name is Chef, I have had him for four years after adopting him from the Portland Humane Society. I adopted him after my mother passed and before my dad passed away. The thought of losing him is devastating. He had a urinary blockage, has seen an emergency vet and now his regular vet, but I can not pay or go into more debt than the nearly $1400 I have done. I am the main provider for my partner and I right now, so our cash flow is tighter. Extra debt in either credit or loans would sink us. Update:

This is no longer an immediate emergency as he isn’t blocked anymore!! We are monitoring for the next few weeks. It is still likely he could be blocked again, and then it is an emergency again. I’ll leave the fundraiser up for that reason and to help mitigate the current medical costs. If he is blocked again, it would be a surgery which we got a better picture of from our regular vet. That runs 2-3k, so I lowered the goal amount as well. If everything goes well hopefully we won’t need to fund raise anything past his current bills.
