Support Khan's Recovery and Ongoing Care

My name is O. Earlier this week, our rescue cat Khan had to be rushed to hospital when we noticed blood by his tail. Shortly after being admitted, we were told that he had a bad urinary blockage and would need an emergency catheter placed to allow the passing of urine. We were left with a hard decision to risk the procedure or put him to sleep.

Six months ago when Khan was found just before winter, cold and very obviously hungry, we searched in vain for his people, but no one came to claim him. Since then, we have adopted him, had bad teeth extracted, fought off the infection that followed, and made him apart of our family.

Khan is now back at home but his fight isn't over. There is a chance that he may have to return to hospital if the blockage returns, and we are doing everything we can to assist him in recovery. We have already taken out a loan to cover his first procedure, and if he needs another, we have no hope of paying for it. It is now that I am asking for any assistance, any at all, in order to help fund his ongoing care. He has so much life and fight in him that we can't bear to give up on him. I will be giving whatever updates I can in regard to his wellbeing, pictures and all.

For anybody that sees this, even if you cannot donate, please say a prayer for him. He's not ready to give up and neither are we.
