I am the beneficiary, but my cousin Allan is helping me withdraw your donations, since I'm still in Honduras.
Hi! I am an international student from Honduras at Concordia University, in Montreal, Canada, this would be my first year, I started this fall, I’m majoring in Civil Engineering. Tuition for international students is super expensive and due to Covid-19 my family is very low on income, so they can no longer afford to pay for my studies.
I am deeply passionate about my career, which drives me to seek excellence and a successful future, I have huge plans and goals, I’m confident that I’m capable, because I have the right motivation. All throughout high school, apart from being an outstanding student, I was actively involved in my community, I volunteered as much as I could in medical brigades and mission trips in the mountains.
As a volunteer I met the people who are now my motivation. I saw the needs that most communities in the mountains face and decided that from that moment everything I would do was to work towards finding a solution for them. Thanks to my hard work, I have now the opportunity of studying at Concordia, and with the engineering skills I will get, I will be able to build a home for those families in need.

¡Hola! Soy una estudiante internacional de Honduras en la Universidad de Concordia, en Montreal, Canadá, este es mi primer año, inicie en septiembre, estudio Ingeniería civil. La costos para los estudiantes internacionales son bastante altos y debido al Covid-19 mi familia tiene muy pocos ingresos, por lo que ya no pueden pagar mis estudios.
Me apasiona mi carrera, lo que me impulsa a buscar la excelencia y un futuro exitoso, tengo grandes planes y metas, estoy segura de que soy capaz, porque tengo la motivación adecuada. Durante mis años de colegio, además de ser una estudiante sobresaliente, participé la mayor cantidad de veces posibles como voluntaria en brigadas médicas y viajes misioneros en las montañas.
Como voluntaria conocí a las personas que ahora son mi motivación. Vi las necesidades que enfrentan la mayoría de las comunidades de la montaña y decidí que a partir de ese momento todo lo que haría sería trabajar para encontrar una solución para ellos. Gracias a mi esfuerzo, ahora tengo la oportunidad de estudiar en Concordia, y con las habilidades de ingeniería que obtendré, podré construir un hogar para aquellas familias necesitadas.
