Onyx’s Medical Fund

Hi family & friends! As many of you may know Onyx was born with a tiny pinhole on his nose, a few weeks ago we got the diagnosis of a “Nasal Dermoid Cyst”- A NASAL DERMOID is a rare developmental anomaly. Although from the outside Onyx looks perfect, these cysts are rapidly growing and if left alone can grow into the skull and brain, resulting in infection such as Meningitis.

We have had an on going battle with insurance approving the MRI which is needed to distinguish how big the cyst is and the location- if it is superficial we will have a simply surgery to remove the tract, if the cyst is larger and growing into skull brain, we will be taking the next steps with a team of surgeons to discuss surgery.

Although we are very thankful to have health insurance, we have a very high deductible. We hate asking but are in a position where we need to ask for help in order to get our baby the care he needs. Any little bit helps-We love and appreciate every one of you!
