Help my friends family please!
Many of you know and love Josh O'Toole. He is a loyal father, great husband, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend and an active member of the Highland community. On October 18th, after a day of scans and labs, Josh learned he would need to have surgery on his thyroid gland and quickly. As a man who goes to the gym regularly and tries to stay healthy, this news was unnerving.
Josh and his wife Sherri were not prepared, as no one every is for this kind of news. Josh and Sherri have two boys at home Andrew (17) and Blayne (12). Josh currently does not receive sick or disability leave at his job. If he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid. Thankfully Josh's thyroid surgery went well but his surgeon shared that he would be need to be out of work for at least 3 weeks after surgery. While home recovering Josh received a call on November 2nd that he will need to have another surgery on his eyelid to remove carcinoma skin cancer cells. He will go in for a biopsy first to determine how much skin will need to be removed. Then the surgery for removal and reconstruction will be scheduled. This will mean additional time off work.
We wanted to reach out on behalf of the O'Toole family and seek your prayers for his healing and any monetary donation you may wish to give to help Josh and his family to have peace of mind during this difficult time. All funds will go directly to Josh's family to help with medical costs, lost wages, and any future needs he and his family many encounter post-surgery. Josh has a very generous heart and has always been the "giver" in helping others and now we have an opportunity to give back and show our support to him. We appreciate your prayers and support and ask that you help us share this GoFundMe campaign on your social media so that we can reach the many people who want to help Josh and his family.
Thank you for your prayers and support!!!!
