Blaze's Surgery

I am Taylor, the proud dog mom of Blaze, who has my whole heart and is my only family living nearby. Blaze needs surgery to remove his parathyroids due to an uncommon disease of abnormal calcium and phosphorus regulations in dogs called hyperparathyroidism. We must get the surgery since, left untreated could lead to kidney failure and the loss of function of other vital organs. If you know Blaze or me, you know how much I love my dog and how much my dog loves everyone! He is my only family in California and has been on this ride of life with me for 8 years. He has been there beside me through every hardship and heartbreak and got excited with me for my accomplishments (even if he didn't understand why we were celebrating). I know it may seem crazy to be spending this much money on a dog, but he is what has gotten me out of bed every morning this year. The surgery cost is expected to be around $10k, which is added to the cost of the x-rays, ultrasounds, and CT scans we have done to diagnose the problem.
