Support for Sally

Throughout our lives, some people always seem to be there when we need encouragement, a kind word, a sweet treat, or a smile. At Regis University, Sally O'Laughlin is one of those people - kind, giving, funny, and supportive.

Sadly, after surgery and several health complications, Sally's beloved husband, Jack, passed away last week. Through Jack's health struggles, Sally was stretched thin. Being Jack's caretaker through this and ultimately losing him has been one of the most challenging times in Sally's life. Somehow through it, Sally did what she's always done. She still came to work. She still made sure our funding was processed. She still made sure our departments had what they needed. In short, Sally ensured we were all taken care of even when she needed care.

As Sally takes the time to grieve the loss of her love, Jack, many of us want to show her support. This campaign is to support Sally by ensuring she has the financial security she needs as she works the various processes of funeral arrangements, probate, and spousal grief. This fund isn't for any one thing in particular; rather, it is meant to give her the ability to use what she needs for meals, fees, transportation, self-care, etc.
