On Friday, October 22nd, Phil Cunningham was blowing dirt/leaves outside for his job, and was struck by a car. He has several broken bones and has a long road to recovery. We are praising God that he is still with us- his family knows and has been reminded by doctors, police officers, nurses that, with this type of accident, people usually don’t survive. Thank you, Jesus!

When the Cunningham family goes through crisis, they pray and come together. As Josie (Phil’s wife) always says, “We can do hard things”. We have given thanks for God’s protection over Phil and continue to! Phil, Josie, and family are taking it day by day. They are so grateful for the outpouring love of family and community. They have had so many ask how they can help, and, at this point, they ask for continued prayer for healing over Phil’s broken bones and for complete recovery. Also, pray for strength and guidance for Josie as she navigates the day to day, as this is all so new to her.

Thank you for your prayers and support as the Cunningham family tries to navigate the coming months with Phil’s recovery. Pray for peace in their hearts and for Phil’s recovery as he faces several broken bones and physical therapy.
