The Valparaiso Community is in shock and grief from the loss of our dear friend, son, fiancé, and brother John Miller at the age of 30. John passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 13th, 2022.

 

Whether you knew John from Valparaiso High School, Andrean High School, travel baseball/basketball leagues, the Aberdeen Community, Purdue University, Beta Theta Pi, Legacy Sign Group, or softball leagues, then you feel the same way as we do.

 

To know John was to love him.

 

John was a kind-hearted, gentle soul, an avid lover of music, baseball, and enjoying all people.

He never met a stranger, nor did he have any enemies. Everyone he met loved him from day one. He brought the best out in everyone.

 

John is preceded in death by his beloved father, Doug Miller, who sadly passed away last year on February 8th, 2021.  Doug was a pillar of strength in the Porter County Community for many years.

We started this Go Fund Me account to lessen the burden on Mary, Emily, and Stephanie. The senseless, untimely tragedy that has been forced upon these ladies is just too much to bear for them emotionally and financially.
