*UPDATE*
Starting radiation to add to the mix. Gotta do chemo and radiation for a few more weeks to shrink my tumor and then surgery in a few weeks. Please pray that this treatment goes well. Thank you for reading!
Hi, my name is Christopher Saucier, my fiancee Raven and my sweet 3 year old boy Elijah are starting this GoFundMe to hopefully raise some money to help with our bills, travel, food, etc while I go through treatment. Also, just to shine some light on what's going on with me! I'm currently battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer called synovial sarcoma.
What is Synovial Sarcoma?
Synovial sarcoma is a rare cancer that usually affects soft tissues like muscles or ligaments, most commonly in young adults and adolescents. It's an aggressive disease that often requires intense treatment—including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and in some cases, experimental or clinical trial therapies.
Unfortunately, due to its rarity, treatment options can be complex, prolonged, and extremely costly—financially, emotionally, and physically.
I was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma in September, and it has been a whirlwind of hospital visits, scans, biopsies, and treatment planning. I'm currently undergoing chemotherapy/radiation/surgery, with more procedures and a long recovery ahead. Anything helps, thank you all so much!
