My name is Jnet Vanderpool, and I would like to request help for Margarita who is not only a co worker, but she is like my sister. I have known her since I started with Keller Williams in Victorville in 2011, and I feel this is the only way I can help her. Please read on...
My good friend, Margarita became very ill the beginning of this year in January. She spent over a week in ICU with the doctors indicating at one point that all they could do was try to keep her alive. After over a week in ICU she became responsive. It has been a struggle to move forward with treatment for her on some issues after this major incident. Because of the Covid-19 shutdown, all her treatments and surgeries that needed to be completed were held back. Finally in August after some CT Scans, Pet Scans and other tests, Margarita was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer. She had surgery to remove her gall bladder, and to see about the spot on her colon. The Drs could only remove the gall bladder, but could do no more due to the spreading of the cancer in her colon and neighboring organs. Her only other option is Chemotherapy. She started the Chemo 3 weeks ago. Her Copay for the treatment and scans that are ongoing, and will be required over the next 6 months and probably longer. Which is more than her family budget can afford. Medical Insurance does not cover treatment 100%. She has been unable to work since January and her family funds are being depleted quickly. Your prayers and generosity with this fundraiser will help her family by removing the financial stress as well as give her some peace. Margarita needs the full effect of the Chemotherapy, and the hardship this puts on her can keep the chemo from being effective. Prayers were her life support in January, and we all know how much Margarita has prayed for others. She knows continued prayers will also help in the next stage of her recovery. She told me she prays blessings over the lives of everyone, hoping you would make the decision to help her family in this time of great need.
