Helping John Get Back on His Feet
Donation protected
John Cheramie is a father, a friend, a hard worker and what most of us would call a hero — even if John would disagree. Last month, John helped a neighbor extinguish a fire in their apartment. He didn't think; he just ran into the burning residence and used his own fire extinguisher to try and put out the flames. In the process, John was badly injured. He suffered third-degree burns on the lower half of his body and broke his collarbone. As he heals from these incredibly painful injuries, John's been forced to take time away from his job. As a friend and coworker, I want to make sure John and his two children are provided for during a time where he's unable to work. John's recovery process is far from over, and his family needs the help of his community more than ever. Let's help John get back on his feet — no pun intended, even though we know John would laugh at that — and give him one less thing to worry about as he focuses on healing properly and recovering after his heroic act.
