Hi my name is Stacey Spooner and I am fund raising for my best friend's dog Phoebe. Phoebe was a rescue who lived a tough life until she was put into foster care, and eventually adopted by my friend Rebecca over 5 years ago. Unfortunately, Phoebe developed a persistent cough that had been misdiagnosed. After Rebecca passed away unexpectedly over 2 months ago, Phoebe's cough became worse (significantly affecting her quality of life) and she was referred to a different veterinarian. Upon examining bloodwork that had been done it was determined that she has very low albumin levels, indicating that a more serious problem may be present. In order to determine what health issues she is dealing with, so that proper treatment can be implemented, some tests are going to have to be done. The cost is going to be approximately $1900. This will include sedation, more blood work, chest x-rays, and an ultrasound of her heart and abdomen. Due to Rebecca's passing this is a large expense for her family at this time.
