Todd’s Road to Recovery

Update: good morning. It is with a heavy heart I post an update to give you all time to grieve and understand this journey. Todd fought like hell but unfortunately his brain activity did not return to any type of normal. He is able to breathe and move the left half of his body, however behind those eyes.. Todd is gone. Knowing who Todd is and the way he lit up a room with his goofy self, his family has chosen to remove the ventilator and all other life saving measures. It may be days before he moves on to heaven, but this is what they know Todd would have wanted. He is surrounded by loved ones as they keep him comfortable going forward. Hello, my name is Ali and I am setting this up to help with the financial portion of Todd’s medical bills as well and personal bills so him and his family can focus on his recovery.

On Friday April 14th, Todd was in a motorcycle accident. He was transported to HCMC where he remains on a ventilator. Along with 7 broken ribs, he also has internal bleeding in several areas including his brain. Life will never be the same for Todd and will require surgery and extensive therapy for him to make it through this. Loss of vision and paralysis on his right side are just some of what can be expected thus far.

Todd has always had such a huge heart and the ability to make everyone around him smile and laugh. His spirit is contagious. He is in for the fight of his life and we would all appreciate prayers for him to pull through and help us smile again!
