It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing that my mother Lorrie Quiroga (Corbett) was admitted to UMC on Tuesday, September 14th. Unfortunately, she is unresponsive and is no longer breathing on her own. She was placed on a ventilator, and we were advised that we should begin preparing to say our goodbyes.

For those of you that knew my mother you know that she was a fighter. She has managed to hold on strong and none of us thought it was the end just yet. However, it appears this time she is just unable to bounce back and hold on any longer.

Many of you have reached out to ask about ways that you can help, which is why we have put together this fundraiser to recognize and honor Lorrie’s wishes. This fundraiser will help raise the funds needed for her cremation and memorial service.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to ask about how we are doing. At this time the family would like some privacy to mourn and cope with their loss. We will be posting updates regarding the memorial service and future arrangements.

For anyone who would like to say their last goodbyes, Lorrie is at UMC in room 38 of the ICU department.
