Genuinely didn’t think I would be here in this position again. I thought all of this cancer stuff would be somewhat behind me by now, but here we are. I am currently still moving forward with my stem cell transplant and treatment at the moment. My transplant hopefully will be scheduled within the next 4-6 weeks and I will be in the hospital for about 3 weeks, depending on how well my body recovers from the transplant/ no complications arise. I had taken a break from treatment these past two months due the restart of the new year;which means my deductible cap expired this year and my copay on this current medication is very high again. My oncologist wants me to do another cycle before the transplant. This go fund me will cover my medical expenses from last year, this current infusion, and the copay for the hospital stay to come.
