Dalton Strong TPIAT Surgery 4-29-25

Dear friends and family,
As many of you know, our beloved Dalton has been on a challenging medical journey since 2020. His life has been marked by the unexpected and recurring pain of pancreatitis, a rare condition that has presented significant obstacles for him and our family. This rare illness has, sadly, resulted in numerous hospitalizations and several unsuccessful interventions.
The severity of Dalton’s condition has led to a planned Total Pancreatectomy with Islet Autotransplantation (TPIAT) surgery, scheduled for April 29, 2025. This complex procedure requires the complete removal of his pancreas followed by the transplantation of insulin-producing cells into his liver. It’s a testament to his strength and our unwavering hope that we have reached this point where this potentially life-altering surgery offers a path forward.
Despite the immense difficulties Dalton has faced, his spirit remains unbroken. He’s a fighter through and through, a vibrant young boy with an infectious enthusiasm for life. He's passionate about BMX biking, cherishing the time he spends with his racing friends. His unwavering optimism and kind heart shine brightly; countless people have described him as the sweetest, happiest, most caring, and funniest guy – a sentiment we wholeheartedly echo.
We are incredibly grateful for the love and support we have received during this journey. We will continue to provide updates as we approach Dalton’s surgery and beyond. Your continued thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated.
All proceeds will be used for medical expenses, lodging and food.
With love and gratitude,
