Help Us Save Our Family Home

To all who know us, and don't know us. I am a husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and Navy veteran. And this woman saved my life, not in the the physical way, but was there when I had given up all hope. After meeting, we moved into this house 11 years ago. We have raised our kids and even had grandkids here. Two years ago, we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to buy this home. And luckily, through a private contract as we couldn't get a loan. The first year went great, but the last year has been an uphill battle. We have struggled quite a bit, and just when it looked like we were gonna be okay and get caught up, my wife had an accident at work. She passed out and crashed her security patrol car. She wasn't physically injured, except for soreness, which has left us behind once again. I have been looking for a second job for a while now and have been getting further behind, asking the previous owner for more and more time while searching. Well, I guess his patience ran out. As of yesterday, we received a letter from his lawyer stating we have defaulted on our contract, but they were willing to give us one more chance. We have till the 1st of March to come up with $11,660 or they are taking back the house and we would have to relocate. I would never ask anyone for a large amount like that; I should be able to come up with at least half by then. I'm only hoping that this reaches a lot of people, and that everyone is willing to donate something, even if only $1. Every little bit helps. Wish us luck in hopes we can save the house that we have made a home. Don't do it for me, but please help me make my ole lady as happy as she has made me. As she deserves it more than anyone I know.
