Jen's Rally Against Cancer

Donation protected

On October 30th, Jennifer went to the Emeregency room for shortness of breath, weakness, and overall body pain. This was the beginning of her long journey to a diangosis of Myelodysplastic Syndromes
(MDS) a RARE and aggressive form of blood cancer.

On April 5th Jennifer received her diagnosis and potential treatment plans.  Because of the aggressive nature of the cancer she requires an agressive form of treatment.  She will undergo treatment at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee - chemotherapy will be given to kill as many of her abnormal cells as possible so that she is healthy enough for a stem cell transplant.  When she does have the transplant she will be hospitalized in Milwaukee for up to 6 weeks.
Jennifer had to quit working beacuse of the toll the cancer was taking on her body, so her family is down to one income.  She has to pay out of pocket for co-pays, frequent visits and overnight stays to Milwuakee, and in May she will be self pay for her health insurance, the bills are racking up quickly, and that is one stress that is not needed.
Jennifer's journey will be a long and rough one, she and her husband are hard working individuals with 3 children. This  will be hard on them emotionally and financially so any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Jennifer, my meatball, is one of the most loyal and caring friends I could ask for.  We are connected in more ways than I can explain or that anyone will understand, we often tease that we have to somehow be sisters.  It breaks my heart that her and her family have to endure this painful diangosis.  Please find it in your heart to share, pray, and if possible donate.
