Pedalling to Paris with Purpose!

Hello friends, family, and kind strangers! We’re hitting the road on a cycling journey all the way to Paris. Twenty of our Lewes District Explorers (supported by 4 Leaders) will be peddling their way from Dieppe to Paris this summer — and not just for the challenge, but to change lives.

We’re raising vital funds for three causes close to our hearts.

- Mind – Providing mental health support and making sure no one faces their struggles alone.

- ️ Macmillan Cancer Support – Offering essential care and comfort to people battling cancer and supporting their loved ones.

- Allegiance Explorer Scouts – Empowering young people through outdoor adventures, leadership, and lifelong skills.

This ride won’t be easy—there’ll be sore legs, hot weather, and lots of snack breaks—but every mile is powered by purpose. Your donation, big or small, helps us fuel change and provide support through these incredible organisations.

Two of these charities are in honour and memory of two incredible leaders that we lost this year. Phil and Tom were a hugely loved and valued part of our community and who made a massive impact on our Cubs and Scouts.

Our target is to raise £500 for each of these organisations; supporting those in need through Mind and Macmillan and creating a new fund for the next adventures in Explorer scouting.
