Hello friends and family. I am writing to let you in on how the last two months have been the hardest I have had to endure. One week before my graduation, a few days before Mother's Day, we found out that my beautiful, young mother was diagnosed with stage 4 Bile Duct Cancer known as Cholangiocarcinoma. As many of you know, my mother is quite active and into fitness but cancer has no age preference as this rare cancer usually appears at the the age of 60+ (my mother is only 44). It took the best and worst of me to finish my last week of university. I looked into my proud mother's tired eyes as I walked the stage. I held a graduation party where we celebrated with many friends and family, an event that almost did not happen due to the multitude of worries that went through our minds. That day turned out to be amazing and joyous and filled with memories. I know that for a spit second, we forgot about the recent news.

A month later, after looking into how costly treatment for this rare cancer will be, my friends and family have been looking for ways to to cover costs for my mother's treatment to begin as soon as possible. I would greatly appreciate any help. 

I know some are not able to help monetarily and I completely understand. I ask if you could please keep my mother in your prayers. Thank you and God bless.
