My story:

I moved to North Carolina in late August of last year to get out of a terrible household in California, taking up an offer from my stepfather to stay with him for a while, after about a month I managed to get a job.

On my first day of work on my way back I was hit by a car on my bike from someone who wasn't looking where he was turning, not getting into all of it but it cost me a lot of savings and I missed a month of work for it. I also lost my only mode of transportation, my bike.

Midway through November my friend Sorren talked to me about moving to North Carolina and we came up with a plan, in late December my stepfather told me that I needed to find a new place by the end of January or I would be kicked out, obviously making our plans move up a lot faster then they would have been otherwise, for the next 25 days we applied and were rejected from a number of places before we managed to find one near the end of the month with some help from Okepa (Sorren's partner).

I've moved most of my stuff in, but don't have any amenities or furniture. I've been dipping into all of my savings for this place. My credit card bill is due and the apartment complex is issuing me a bill they "forgot" to put in my deposit amount that's due on the 5th.

I'll be completely broke until my paycheck on the 9th, and Sorren is unable to help with all their own moving expenses right now, I hate to ask but I could really use some help so I can afford food and bills and not have to worry about everything right now.

All proceeds go to bills, food, a new bike, furniture and Sorren's moving budget to help them get out of their equally terrible circumstances, any and all help is appreciated greatly <3
