A charismatic and driven Hartwell, Georgia native that came to Evanston, Illinois on an academic scholarship at Northwestern University. Her studies at the university not only led her to an inborn passion for education, the performing arts, a sisterhood with Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority and a burgeoning well versed activist, but most importantly the calling from the most High to be a servant in ministry. Qunsia graduated from Northwestern and now humbly calls Orange County, CA home.

This GoFundMe Campaign was birth from her Cousins who LOVE her and who will do anything for her.  Her humility wouldn't allow her to ask others to help, so WE are standing in the gap to share her story, in her own words:

"Loved ones, I have hard news to share. The cancer is back and has spread. I am in the hospital currently. It turns out I have tumors blocking my colon and cancer wrapped around my colon. Here in the hospital, I am obviously being treated for the surgery and the pain, but I was also able to have a “family meeting” with my medical team. It was there that we learned how advanced my cancer is and the prognosis does not look good at all. If my current therapy (immunotherapy) which does not have great odds, does not work then they do not have much left for me.

Obviously this has been hard for me and my care team to hear and process and the reality is that I cannot do this alone. This is me asking for everyone who loves me or feels positively towards me to pray and if you can sow a financial seed into my care fund.

God gave me a vision of me fighting a large dark enemy. Some of you may have heard this already, but I want to share it for those who have not. I was a warrior, dressed in fighting gear with a sword and I swung it and it came crashing to the ground which was out of the ordinary for me.. The enemy taunted and tormented me and suddenly I heard this roar and rumble. It was an army of my friends and loved one’s teeth barred, battle cry on, slicing and dicing. They all charged past me as I stood unable to will my sword it was

My interpretation is that I will not win this by myself. I need you. Yes, you. Even if you do not feel super close to me or if you have not talked to me in a while. Your prayer and or contribution is a soldier in this army and it matters. Let us conquer cancer and speak it into existence...."

We are asking for fervent prayer, positive energy, and ANY financial donations that you feel led to sow in her life as she faces mounting medical bills and no source of income due to her inability to work.
