Dear friends, family, and community,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts to share devastating news. The Freeman family- Patty, Pat, Ryan, Nick, and Matt, have recently suffered a tragic house fire that has left them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. On the morning of Saturday, November 25th, a lithium battery charging in their basement exploded, causing a devastating house fire. As far as we know, their home is a total loss. In this time of immense hardship, we are calling on your kindness and generosity to help them rebuild their lives.

Imagine losing everything you own in a matter of minutes – cherished memories, personal belongings, and the sense of security that comes with having a home. The Freeman family is now faced with the daunting task of starting from scratch, and we cannot let them face this challenge alone.

Their close friends and family kindly ask for your support in any way you can. Your donations, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference in helping the Freeman family get back on their feet. Here's how you can contribute:

1️⃣ Monetary Donations: This GoFundMe page has been set up to collect funds for the Freeman’s. Every dollar counts and will go directly towards providing them with essential items, temporary shelter, and helping them rebuild their lives.

2️⃣ Gift card donations for restaurants and/or stores where they can buy clothing, basic necessities, and home goods. Since they are staying in a hotel, and space is limited, we don’t want to overwhelm them with material donations and “stuff” they cannot use at this time. They have zero storage so they would like to only buy the things they truly need right now.

3️⃣ Spread the Word: Even if you are unable to donate, you can still make a difference by sharing this post with your friends, family, and social networks. The more people who know about their situation, the greater the chance of finding help for Pat, Patty, and their boys.

Their family and friends would be so appreciative if we could all come together and show this family who do so much for others that they are not alone in this difficult time. Your support and compassion will provide them with the strength and hope they need to rebuild their lives.

Since they are staying in a hotel, space is limited so monetary donations or gift cards would be best so they can get only the basic necessities and not be overwhelmed with “stuff”. We will keep this GoFundMe updated as we go along if there are material things they need or request. If you’d like to donate restaurant gift cards, please try to donate GC’s for locations in or near Woodbury so grabbing dinner isn’t too much of an inconvenience for them.
