I post this with a very heavy broken heart.
Saturday, February 25th my husband Joshua Newton lost his battle to brain cancer which also metastasized to his liver and lungs. If you knew Josh, you would understand what this earth has lost. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, and son. He fought one hell of a battle! The world and our family has lost another good soul. My family is asking for some peace in this rough transition, but I am also asking for support with his memorial services and left behind medical bills and hospital stays. If you are able to help and/or share this, it would be much appreciated.
Starting from Dec 7th when we found out he went through 3 different treatments and numerous hospital stays. He completed 10 full brain radiation treatments starting December 15th and had his last one on Dec 29th. On New Years his brain swelled and was bleeding again and he was admitted, he was then placed on a feeding tube because he had not ate for 11 days. Jan 3rd he started his target therapy. Within the next few days he had shown substantial clinical improvements. After 2 weeks he was placed on home health care and we took him home. He did really good for the first week or so but then stopped eating again. He went from 174lbs to 119lbs in these 3 short months. He had a follow up MRI and CTs on Feb 9th which only brought heartbreaking news that although there was shrinking there was more growth not only in his brain but liver and lungs. He was really weak by this point but we still prayed for a miracle. He started his immunotherapy treatment Friday Feb 17th. By Sunday the 19th we had lost everything we did have and I placed him on hospice comfort care on Monday the 20th on Saturday February 25th he took his last breath. He was one hell of a strong fighter and although we had spent many nights in the hopital he lost his battle peacefully at home! We are not really ones to reach out for help but we really could use any and all help. This all happened so fast and are at such a loss. In loving memeory of Joshua Newton, my forever everything.

This was December 7th when we found out!

This was 3 days before we went to the hospital. He was putting our custom made Christmas ornament on the tree. It all just went so fast!
