Hi, I'm Brooke, and this is my dog, Rex, my companion through the long and stressful journey of being a student nurse.

Recently, Rex suddenly experienced severe pain, became wobbly, and was unable to move normally. I rushed him to the emergency vet yesterday, where they suspect a spinal condition affecting his mobility and causing significant discomfort.

He is now on medication and strict rest for several weeks, and I am doing everything I can to keep him comfortable and support his recovery.

The emergency visit and ongoing care have been unexpected and costly, with the possibility of additional expenses depending on how he progresses.

I am also currently finishing nursing school and will soon be transitioning into nursing practice, and the financial costs associated with that transition and graduation are adding up quickly.

I’m asking for help to give Rex the best chance to heal and be comfortable again. I understand that many are struggling in this economy, and any support or even sharing his story truly means so much to me ❤️
