My name is Khalid Ramadan, 20 years old, software engineering student. I lost my hopes of becoming one due to the ongoing genocide. I'm currently trying to escape to Egypt to at least continue my studies. I'm kicked out of my own home with my family and living in a tent in Rafah. We don't know if we can survive until tomorrow or not.

For the last 7 months, we have watched atrocity after atrocity being committed against the people of Gaza and a lot of us have felt helpless in the face of this calamity, with limited ability to directly impact our brothers and sisters. This is an opportunity to help a young brother who is currently displaced in Rafah and living in a tent with his family including his younger siblings. With the current fee that is required to evacuate each person, the costs reach astronomical prices per family unit, and with that reality in mind, Khalid’s family has prioritized his leaving first in order to continue his studies. Help us help Khalid to raise and secure the funds he needs in order to evacuate from Gaza as soon as possible. Applications for evacuation take about a month in order to be processed and so time is of the essence.
