Help Us Overcome Homelessness and Hardship
Donation protected

It's been two years since the bottom fell out of our lives. Two years since the last eviction notice, since my epilepsy made holding down a steady job impossible, and since the three of us – me, my 46-year-old mom, and my 23-year-old brother – found ourselves navigating the harsh realities of homelessness. Every day is a scramble, a constant hustle to stitch together enough to survive. Mom cleans offices late at night, her back aching but her spirit unyielding. Wayne, with his quiet determination, does odd jobs for cash – moving furniture, yard work, anything that comes his way. And me? I take on whatever I can manage, mostly online gigs that let me work around my seizures, or small craft projects I can sell at local markets if I can get a ride. It's not much, certainly not a way to get ahead, but every dollar earned is another meal, another night at a cheap motel when we can afford it, another sliver of hope that we'll eventually find our way out of this.
My brother, my mom, and I are currently facing some tough times, and any bit of help would make a real difference. If you have any small jobs we could do, or if you're able to offer a financial donation, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. Every little bit helps us get back on our feet. We will be using it for an apartment, motels, food, bikes, and other NECESSITIES. We don't want to be in the streets anymore.
