Baby Chloe, Erica and Joe

As many of you know. on March 26, my precious baby granddaughter, Chloe Lynn, was born 3 1/2 months premature... weighing just 1 lb 10 oz. Upon her birth, Chloe was immediately taken to the neonatal intensive care unit, where she remains today. She was given a very low chance of survival. She was already a miracle, since my daughter was not suppose to be able to get pregnant. But my precious granddaughter is beautiful and amazing and she just weighed in at 4 lbs!

We thank God for her! She is quite the fighter (just like her mama). And, looking to the future, before you know it, this precious miracle will be headed home. But, Chloe still has a long, long road ahead. Her needs are great and often overwhelming. Mom and Dad had no time to prepare their home or vehicles for her and had no time to obtain all the items a baby will need. Plus, the hospital calls Chloe their "million dollar baby" and at the rate the medical bills are coming in, I can see why! And, if things were not challenging enough for this family, Dad's employer has saw fit to let him go. These are just a few of the things that prompted me to "up" the amount of our gofundme campaign.

For all of you who have offered your prayers, support and who have shared our campaign, THANK YOU! During the past few months, as Mom and Dad were at their daughter's side, making many life decisions for her, you were there for them and we cannot thank you enough!! As we enter the next phase of Chloe's life (preparing to head home), this family continues to need the help and support of all those who are able.
