Lisa Smith

Hi, This is Rick and Julie. Here is our beautiful daughter, Lisa Marie Smith. She is a two-year breast cancer survivorafter a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. Then recently diagnosed with metastatic cancer to a left rib with a 6 cm malignant tumor. The rib and tumor were removed, plus a slice of diaphragm and piece of muscle, and nerve bundle over the sight. So thankful for her amazing doctors. Just received the final path report. Margins were all clear except a one mm area on one margin that is cancer. We believe and pray it’s only on the piece taken out and not in her. Since this cancer is metastatic, doctors plan to restart chemo two weeks after the incision is healed a little. We believe and pray that Lisa will be able to manage this for a looooooong time. We all need her!

Lisa is recovering from surgery and cannot work right now. Lisa loves being a nanny and takes care of a little girl. She is a brave sweetheart warrior who wants to fight for life and be there for her family. We hope to give her and her family some help financially during this trial. Lisa and her husband Jeff have two sweet kids, Austin, 17 years old and Ashley, 14 years old. They are doing their best, and we are there for them and love them very much.
