Tarlov Cyst Surgery/ please, I need your help

Five years ago I fell during a snow storm. Ever since, I’ve had growing pain in my lower back and legs. In March 2017, I had a kidney stone and they incidentally found a cyst in my sacrum. I followed up with a mri and they found I had a large Tarlov cyst in my sacrum that has eroded the bone and is pushing on nerves on the S2 in my spine. There are only three Neurosurgeons in the United States that have done successful surgery on these cysts and it has taken me two years to find doctors in Wisconsin to send in pre authorization to my insurance to cover the surgery. It’s been a long emotional and painful battle. I spend many days bed ridden and can only stand or sit around 1/2 hour to 1 hour maximum without excruciating pain kicking in. I have bowel and bladder dis function that is continually getting worse. The smallest chores such as doing dishes I have to do some and rest a bit. When I go out with friends we need to find a chair for me to sit down so I can sit and stand.
The Neurosurgeon that will be performing the surgery is in California. He will be performing the surgery on March 15, 2019. I have not been able to work and I’m appealing Social Security Disability right now. I have the surgery covered but not the airfare, meals or hotel where I need to stay until my post op appointment and am cleared to fly home (about two weeks without complications). I am very humbled to be starting this page as I’m very independent but I don’t know where else to turn. I want my life back. I want to be able to enjoy life again without restrictions and pain. I am very grateful for my friends and family. My best friend, Mother, Betty will be accompanying me to California to help me and take care of me while out there. I’m so grateful for her.
