GoFundBee! (Medical treatment)

Hi, I'm Ellie-Bee! Seeing that I am quite sedentary, I currently enjoy long walks to my kitchen, but I can definitely say that I miss hiking, weight lifting, walks in my neighborhood with my cat, and riding my scooter, Clementine.

Last year, I had a high impact injury to my ankle/ foot, causing multiple fractures, joint misalignment, and compacted bone. The damages from my injury are painful, and make it difficult to walk, or do my exercises.

After a weekend of some walking, and much pain to follow, it has become apparent that my recovery has been minimal at best, and I need more treatment for my joint, bone fracture, and tendinopathy/tendinitis.

The first real sign of recovery I experienced was in June of this year, (9 months post-injury!) after being given a plasma injection to my joint, by my specialist.

After a single treatment, my ankle moved inward for the first time! As effective the treatment is, my insurance does not cover my specialist (out of network, booo!), plasma treatment, or chiropractic to realign my joint.

This has been a huge burden on my behalf, as I cannot fund these treatments, and really want to get back to basic walking.

Any support towards my medical expenses will help me get back on my feet... Literally!

With some more support, I am hopeful to continue visiting my specialist, receive more physical therapy, and hopefully continue plasma treatment to get me walking correctly again. Thank you for all of those who are able to help out! I'll send you progress reports! :)
